Lori's career transition from the corporate world and humanitarian work to real estate in 2021 reflects her diverse background and skill set. Lori spent 18 years in the corporate world, which equipped her with valuable skills such as organization, project management, and business acumen.

Her 20+ year career in humanitarian (NGO) work internationally demonstrates her commitment to making a positive impact on global issues. Lori's previous role as an IT administrator suggests technical proficiency, which is beneficial in today's technology-driven real estate industry. It enables her to leverage digital tools and platforms effectively.

She has a vast personal knowledge of the NC High Country, a broad network of contacts both locally and globally and a strong customer service orientation. She has traveled to more than 80 countries and lived close to 15 years internationally specializing in program development, disaster/emergency response, and continues volunteering her time to educate victims of war/genocide on the psychological/physiological/spiritual effects of trauma.

“Receiving Them Well” is a book she co-authored as a guide for communities of those returning from humanitarian aid or missions work. Lori enjoys the NC outdoors, extreme hikes, culture, new challenges, cooking and travel. She loves meeting people and is outstanding in facilitating sellers in connecting with ideal buyers and aiding buyers in discovering optimal deals for exceptional properties nestled in the stunning mountains of North Carolina.
